Courses are also available for professional development or for obtaining Beginning or Professional Administrator endorsements. If you're not a teacher but want to be, we also offer courses leading to initial teacher licensure. Some M.Ed. courses are also available online.

Small classes allow our highly prepared and experienced faculty to serve not just as teachers, but also as mentors. Evening and summer classes offer convenience and flexibility. Studies are personalized to meet your specific education needs. The Graduate Program is fully accredited by NCATE, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, and approved by the Tennessee State Board of Education. If you are a full-time teacher or administrator in a public or private school, we now offer special scholarships and discounts that will help significantly with the cost of studying at Lipscomb. Check the links at left for details. The Graduate M.ED. Program in Education is a component of the Department of Education and the College of Education and Professional Studies. At the conclusion of the graduate program, each student is asked to give an Exit Presentation. The format of these presentations vary from multimedia presentations regarding research or a poster session, as shown above.
